International Tourism University – Vatel Admission Terms
Vatel, international hotels and tourism management university, will open in Tbilisi in spring 2018, Tornike Janashvili, head of Block Georgia, one of the project implementing companies, told Business Course.
At this stage, university is passing authorization process. It will operate on basis of Georgian National University, he said.
The university admission is available three times a year thanks to Vatel’s practice. The first admission may start in February 2018 in case the university manages to pass all procedures by that period. At the first stage, the university may accept students from other universities as part of students mobility mechanism, Janashvili said.
Additional condition for submission to the university is that students must know English Language. Academic process will be carried out in English language. Therefore, this is the must. Students unfitting due capabilities will be able to pass training courses at the university, Tornike Janashvili said.
Vatel university will operate at the Georgian National University (GNU) campus, while GNU will move to a new campus nearby.
